Elevated WeChat Pay errors

WeChat Pay has confirmed they are addressing the issue and it will take some time to implement the fix. We are actively monitoring and will provide a further update as more information becomes available.

We’re currently seeing a degradation of the WeChat Pay payment method. Our partner has identified the cause and is working on a fix.

We're currently investigating a degradation of the WeChat Pay payment method that began at 7:10 UTC. This issue is external to Stripe and is causing increased error rates for transactions processed through the WeChat Pay payment method. We are actively monitoring the situation and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
