About StatusWire

Real-time developer infrastructure monitoring, born from the frustration of silent API outages.

📖 The Story

“I was working on WinTrim.io, trying to get it submitted to the App Store. It kept failing, and eventually I couldn't even login. I went to Apple's API status page and saw it was down.”

I Googled it and found nothing but a single Reddit thread with a bunch of other devs saying they were experiencing the same issue. The API had been down for 2 hours and not a single news source was covering the outage, and no word from Apple.

So in my downtime waiting for it to come back up, I put StatusWire together utilizing another one of my products, ScribePilot.ai, a next-generation blog SaaS that uses real-time data and research to write, compose, and publish content, all via API.

Along with this, I came up with a reliability scoring system for different services to help others see which API services to build their businesses upon, and maybe which ones might need backups in case they go down.

🎯 Our Mission

StatusWire exists to give developers and engineering teams the visibility they need into the infrastructure they depend on. We monitor 71+ developer services across cloud platforms, AI/ML APIs, payment processors, and more.

Our reliability scores help you make informed decisions about which services to build upon, and our real-time alerts ensure you know about outages before your users do.
