Bitbucket is slow in responding to customers

This incident has been resolved.

Between 06:35 to 9:27 UTC, we experienced degraded performance for Atlassian Bitbucket. The issue has been resolved and the service is operating normally.

We have identified the root cause of the degraded performance and have mitigated the problem. We are now monitoring closely.

We continue to work on resolving the degraded performance and intermittent failures (due to slow loading times) for Atlassian Bitbucket. We have identified the root cause and taken mitigations to handle the increased load and expect recovery shortly.

We are investigating cases of degraded performance for Atlassian Bitbucket Cloud customers. We will provide more details within the next hour.
